That's what great about Klose - he's very humble and down to earth. I hope he will break the record.
Me too

He started his career for my favorite club, so it´s incredibly satisfying to see him perform at this level. His talent was obvious from day 1, but he´s just so humble and didn´t pass the dubious "nose test" with the german public, so he never had any hype. I can only imagine how rewarding it has to be for him.
I always have to chuckle when people say he doesn´t perform at the club level, or can only score with his head. Klose has always been a top 10 striker in the Bundesliga, even in his Rookie season, and was #1 for a span of 4 years, in my opinion. In 2005/06, for example, he had 25 goals and 14 assists in 26 games, and seemed to be on his way to break Gerd Müller´s fairy-tale record of 40 goals in a single season until an injury took him out. Not to mention how hard he works on the defensive end and in closing down his opponent.
Anyway, all his goals are meaningless if we don´t win against Spain, who are still the favorites for this match.
Good for us that Klose knows this, too.
