I'm still up and down as far as whether KG has a chance to avoid suspension or not.
But, as far as what I think SHOULD happen, I'm with the "if you suspend KG, you suspend Q-Rich too" bandwagon.
At the very least, if you feel you need to suspend KG simply to set a precedent for the remainder of the playoffs that you can't elbow people like that, no matter what the circumstance, then you need to suspend Q-Rich to set a similar precedent that says you can't instigate fights like that, assuming what all involved said is true, ESPECIALLY over an injured player. I may have [dang] well thrown something across my dorm room if Pierce sustained an additional injury because of Q-Rich's stupidity. That is flat out DANGEROUS, plain and simple.
I mean, do you guys think we'd feel the need to discuss whether Q-Rich would be suspended, for example, if he instigated a fight like that over an injured Lebron?
I also wanna chance the idea that the NBA office may not be happy with Q-Rich's words after the game, considering he made it more or less clear he didn't go over to Pierce simply to say "Are you ok?".
KG may have messed up, but at least he seems to regret it. Q-Rich further risked Pierce's health and may as well have laughed about it.
...Well, here's to playoff basketball, right?
