They didn't try tonight. And I rarely say that. So I'll tune back in when the playoffs start to see if they want to begin earning their paychecks. Until then, hope the blue skies crew enjoys taking this team seriously.

Congratulations, Hawks...you're still perched on the third branch.

This team has fallen under the category of playing down to the competition...the rockets without kevin martin and trevor ariza, the knicks without t-mac and wilson chandler.

This one, if I had to choose goes on the starters, minus Ray.  Rondo was sloppy, Pierce's head just wasn't in the game, KG and Perk didn't show alot of hustle.  Notice how players like the likes of Nate, TA, and Finley ala THE BENCH brought us back into this game...starters get put in and crap the bed.

What the "Michael F*****g Jordan" Happened??
I'm reading that Paul Pierce turned the ball over?
He missed a key free throw I saw also. (Im looking on Espn gamecast - playbyplay)

Is It time to consider benching( a lot less minutes) Paul and start playing Marquis? (seriously)

Marquis can't even get off the bench, get over yourself.

Can't even get up for gaining ground on Atlanta? They used to enjoy beating the snot out of poorer teams. Yeh, Bird would get bored and shoot lefty but still wanted to win.  I think they've already thrown in the towel. Golf time!

  • Thank you Eddie!
This team really wants me to turn on them, huh?  A win on my birthday in a game against a team that should be a layup for any other team that thinks they can contend would have been nice, but oh well.  I honestly haven't felt this angry about a team's character since the 08 Sox during the Trade Manny saga.  And I HATED being forced to root for that team at the time.

Last five games:

1.) Blown out by San Antonio at home. No show in the second half.

2.) Great effort but lose because of horrible officiating at home.

3.) Mistakes allow Houston to tie game and then Rockets double up C's in OT. Second straight horrible defensive game.

4.) Three great quarters almost undone by a near epic 4th quarter collapse. Third straight horrible defensive game.

5.) Loss to lowly Knicks on the road and 4th straight just plain awful defensive game.

Doc just said the C's have three games in a week where they shot 60%, 55% and 52% and LOST. Sad!!

this team is what it is. they keep talking about figuring out things and yet they regress and continue their poor routines.

This is not the way to finish the season. I am holding out hope for the playoffs.... but i'm starting to feel like a fool.

I'll cheer to the bitter end. But this team is loosing me every day...

Wow.

Rondo's immaturity really showed tonight. He's no DJ. But then, he's the barometer on this team every night, whether we're playing the Cavs or the pathetic Nix.

And Gallinari... too bad the guy needs three weeks advance notice to change his facial expression.

Christ.... get this freaking regular season over with. It's just torture. >:(

Yup. After 77 games there is nothing left to figure out.

Can we *PLEASE* get the playoffs going, so that we can either see a real team, or a real fluke?

I'm tired of a team that's as consistent as last years Tony Allen.

I have no more hope for this team. Rondo's defense is below average. His definition of defense is half-way chasing, poke a ball from behind, gambling on steal. Perk cannot jump up high or move quick enough to make an easy shot. His skill is just at a bench quality. PP's gas tank is leaking. He seems to move well during first half and no energy in the second. I still like KG and Ray but they are too old and too slow. Worse, I don't think our coach is smart enough to win this year's title. He demotivates Nate to shoot his god-given 3 pts and try to motivate Big baby to shoot whenever he touch the ball. Doc's son-in-law, TA, is given a green light to miss an easy layup at any time.
