7. With how young this defense is I expect them to get better every game, which doesn't mean they will be good, just that what we saw last night should be the worst of it.
Bradford as a QB will slice you apart if you don't pressure him, he proved this in College.

I didn't watch the Pats/Rams game but I'm assuming they were playing relatively vanilla?
Bradford can find the open receivers. However, against the Pats you'd expect the receivers to be open less than they were. Especially with their best wide out leaving due to injury.

The Rams consistently found the soft spot in the zone and gained yards.

If the Patriots play like this in the regular season we will have a lot of shoot outs. Tom Brady fantasy owners will be happy but not Pats fans.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Wake me up when the regular season starts.

I can't deal with preseason football anymore.

Definitely geared up for college season.  Pretty open this year, IMO.

Nice breakdown (TP).
I hope that Brace and Merriweather are okay.  Wouldn't want any more injuries to that defense, and Merriweather has been very solid, and Brace looked like he might not be a bust after all....

If they are to win, it will be with defense and running the ball. All Shinske needs to do is not turn the ball over. If Shinske struggles I'd love to see Marscovetra he completed 80% of his passes in the 3 spring scrimmages.

BC has a favorable schedule and is a good candidate to win their division.

Leigh Bodden has been placed on the Injured Reserve list with a season-ending shoulder injury, (along with three others and released one player). This is really bad news, as we've been weak at the corners ever since Ty Law left, IMO, and Leigh was finally giving us some confidence at that position again. Ugh!

Story is here.

Wow, this is a real blow.  Not only was he the most experienced CB (some would say best CB), but the Pats also just signed him to a big deal.

I think the chances that James Sanders gets traded for some help, either in the rushing game or at CB, just went up... a lot.

Yeah ... Bodden was one of the few reasons that I felt better about the defense this year ... this really hurts. Butler and Wheatley really need to shine ... man, I miss Assante Samuel!

Have to say I am very happy with the play of McCourty at the corner and on special teams. He will have his rookie mistakes and give up the big play this year leaning his craft but he has All-Pro potential, Not this year and maybe not next. But eventually.

DB Terrence Johnson is the only one I've heard of to this point, three others on IR - Safety Josh Barrett (shoulder), DB Brett Lockett (chest), and DL Darryl Richard (foot).
