Doc incapable of leaving bench in. its really sad and predictable that pistons would close the gap. Its shocking, LEAVE THE GUYS IN WHO ARE PLAYING WELL

This is fine. The starters need to start closing games.

Every other team in the NBA leaves the guys who are making shots in the game to close. Doc has to accept that some nights someone on the starters isn't going to have it going and that fine, and its not the end of the world if he leaves someone in who is making shots.

Our starters have been lethargic all game, let the bench play, i don't see what the big deal is
I think it's a good idea to practice realistic end of game scenarios so that we're good to go come playoff time.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
jeez ray.  you know, you're pretty good at ft's.  you can take the foul.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

Just checking in and very happy to see a lead. Hope we pull this one out.
Ben Wallace's rebounding revival in Detroit has been impressive this season. I honestly thought he was done. Goes to show you're only as old as you feel.

Hi Twinbree!  Yeah, "old" Ben indeed.  He plays like he has a chip on his shoulder again.

Hi TTLG :-) Seriously I'm amazed by how well he's been playing. Makes me almost wonder if we shouldn't take a page out of Detroit's book and dig out some of our seemingly washed up Celtics to give us a lift. Too bad Toine already signed in Puerto Rico  ;D

Who wrote that Dana Barros was still available?  ;)

LOL. TP. That'd guarantee banners 18 to 20 for sure  ;D.

I'm all about Walta.  His length and touch would actually be somewhat useful as a 4th wing if he could still play like he did 8 years ago.

Ray's swan dive out of bounds reminded me of Devin Brown's inexplicable turnover against the Rockets and Tmac

LOL. I was wondering the same thing. I'm very happy with the crunch time FT shooting tonight.

Because he needs to practice them!
