well, in all fairness to shelden...he probably saw pierce today sitting in his wheelchair with his head wrapped in that turban/bandage of his.  afterall, paul has never been known to embellish his injuries, right...  ;)

I thought him (and Antoine) did something like that in protest of some Non Calls/bad officiating in a Pacer game a few years ago..I remember it now - Pierce had a "Considerable" amount of bandages on his head during the press conference of the post-game interview.

Their antics were more funny than anything else. I guess they were trying to illustrate that they were getting "Beat Up" during the game.

chris: i respect you as a moderator, but you are wrong.  yes it did happen...and the last post (by greenfaith) is on the money.  but let's not get all worked up over this - it was a joke.

but pierce did indeed go into that press conference with his head all bandaged up in mockery.  don't believe me, just do a search here (you could probably enter the word "turban" and "immature" and you'll find your answer)...  but you of all people should know this already. ;)

He was joking and just trying to prompt people to post the ridiculous picture of Pierce's "wrap" for the post game press conference.
