Count on this:  The Celtics will try to downplay the extent/severity of Pierce's injury so that Danny has better bargaining position in trade negotiations.  If it gets out that Pierce will be out for a significant amount of time, people will think Danny will NEED to make a trade and we won't get as good of a deal.

Short take:  They will say it isn't bad, whether it is or not.

i think that twitter should be disallowed by athletes...  what shelden did was stupidly premature (as did fat glen when he was griping about his contract).  the front office should make all official announcements, not the players.  just my opinion...
