What happens to the big man rotation if Thomas was acquired?
In the playoffs: 29-33 minutes for Perk. 35-37 minutes for KG. That leaves 26-32 minutes for the bench. Is Tyrus Thomas the first big off the bench? Or Rasheed? Do they split the time evenly? Or give 18-22 minutes to one and 6-12 minutes to the other?
Tyrus Thomas would be very valuable in matching up against Orlando and have value against Atlanta too. Does he help against Cleveland? Or the Lakers?
Thomas is the kind of quick, athletic 4 this team needs in the rotation. I think his minutes would depends on the match ups. Versus Smith, Williams, Lewis, Anderson, Bass, Hickson, James, Odom, etc. Thomas would be a great help.
I think trading Allen for Hinrich is suicidal in terms of winning the championship this season though.
