Rondo is burning Davis right now.

Get Anthony Morrow, Monta Ellis, Kelenna Azubuike and Ronny Turiaf for Ray Allen, Bill Walker and Glen Davis

Start Morrow and have Ellis be your backup PG off the bench playing big minutes to limit the amount of time he plays with Rondo

If Ellis and Rondo each play about 32 minutes they will only have to play with each other about 8 minutes per half

Then Eddie and Tony become trade bait

Rondo/Ellis/House
Morrow/Ellis/Tony/Giddens
Pierce/Daniels/Azubuike
KG/Wallace/Williams/Scal
Perk/Turiaf

Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

Ray and Ellis don't match up contract wise. There would have to be another 7 mil in contracts coming to boston.

We would likely get raja bell too because he is a 5 mil expiring contract. If he is going to be healthy by march then he would be a perfect replacement for ray.  He is a better defender and a good 3pt shooter too. I would pull the trigger.

Maybe get a 3rd team involeved sending Ellis to them and some good talent back to boston along with Raja Bell ?

The Warrior I'd want is Maggette, but I wouldn't want to trade Ray for him.  Our other expirings should get the job done, if Golden State is interested only in a salary dump.

Well I will post the link when I figure it out....

Ray for Ellis and Biendrnis works, now of course they will not do this but is there a way we could add other epices to get this deal done? Maybe a 2011 first round pick or more, I would do it that guys is a double double machine!

beware of the volume scorer on a bad team.

He might make us better in the regular season, but against the hawks, magic, lakers, and other teams with 6'6 scoring SGs, how would he fare?

Ellis is a fine scorer on good and bad teams.  Problem is he's a poor fit with Rondo.

Yea Maggette would be a great 6th man. Would you trade ray if we could get back maggette & bell or Morrow?

Morrow is a great shooter almost on Rays level and Bell ( if healthy) is a very good defender better than ray and is also a good 3pt sshooter. I would do either of those trades.

Personally, I wouldn't.  I like Morrow, but I think Ray has become criminally underrated on here.  I'd prefer for him to retire in green, if at all possible.  That's probably a biased opinion, but I think our best option is to bring him back on a cheap contract next season.  I'd much rather trade the deals of Scal, Tony, Giddens, and even House if we're looking to bring somebody in.

Where this is being generated by the Warriors, I wonder just how many rumors/trade offers Danny is going to get for one of the biggest expiring contracts on the market that also so happens to be one of the most productive huge expiring contracts on the market

I think as the deadline gets closer and the playoff picture becomes clearer, Danny's phone will start ringing off the hook with offers for Ray and they are going to get a lot better than Ellis and Vlad Rad
