I still shaking my head on how the following roster can have the second best record in the league:

Jason Kidd, Michael Redd, Trevor Ariza, Dirk Nowitzki, Jermaine O'Neal - Allen Iverson, Peja Stojakovic, Tim Thomas, Brandon Bass

1. Michael Redd is out for the year

2. Allen Iverson is out for the year and played 20 something games and probably should have been considered out for the year

So if both of those guys are out, which I think they should be, how exactly does a team with just seven players have the second best record when they have an efficiency lower than a lot of teams that are struggling at or below .500 that have good depth

The Mavs entire bench is Brandon Bass and Tim Thomas

Are we to believe that a 32 year old Peja and a 36 year old Kidd are going to be playing 48 minutes a game

Then teams like Orlando, the Lakers, Cleveland and Toronto are struggling

This was a judgement call by mean when i looked at his roster he would have had noting left and that was partly do to the fact that he took over the team after someone left. It was one of those situations where I felt it wasnt necessary to bench them, however I may have benched redd and kept iverson due the fact he had no other real options. A lot of teams with injured guys had decent enough backups I could take there player out for the year. AI wasnt decleared out till right before I started sim this stuff so I felt it would be very to keep him in because of I started on time he would still have technically been playing.

Hope this helps clear that up.

CrotoNats?

Is that that severely over publicized, tremendously mediocre and aging  team that had a better propaganda department than an Axis power that won the CelticsBlog Draft

As skewed as this simulation is compared to the final result of the CelticsBlog Draft, this is brilliant and perfect

 ;) :D ;D

Hope you know I'm just kidding!!!!

Or am I???

 ;D

Hmm...  What about the overly-marketed teams that missed the playoffs?  For instance, this one?

Link

I mean, an entire thread dedicated to pimping for votes, and the team still wasn't in the top eight in its conference?  If the CrotoNats were "tremendously mediocre", what can you say about a team like that one?

;)

Just kidding.  I wouldn't want nick to get offended, even though he tends to take these games a little too seriously. ;)

Hmmmmmmm.....

Though in retrospect the more I think about that team....

if in real life Felton, Jackson, Wallace, Diaw and Tyson with Mohammed, Murray, Augustin  and scrubs is an above .500 team in the playoffs

then

George Hill, Jackson, Wallace, Luis Scola, Joel Przybilla, Juwan Howard, Anthony Morrow, Ramon Sessions, Kris Humphries, and scrubs probably should have been a top 5 team in the East

 ;) :D ;D

Also, as I said, given the team that won, I could see where a team like this wouldn't have been in the playoffs

What is up is down and what is down is up

To be fair, if they had Adonal Foyle, they were a playoff team.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I'll take 50/25 ... but I'm getting tired of always being behind the Spurs ... looks like they will be the number one team for the year, then the Mavs or Nuggets, (oh, well- some people are never satisfied). ;)

Congrats, CelticsClay and GreenFaith, looks like our late placement in the draft order paid off, eh? :)

Now that is worth way more than the one TP I can give you. That's huge.

I guess I should be more specific...I'm not going to do all 30 teams unless every team wants to see there stats, so I'm asking anyone who wants to see there team stats and at the end of regular season pm with your email address...if i get request i will let you know what other teams I got an case you to see theres compared to yous..
