It will be interesting to see if any of the big 2010 free agents will be tempted enough to leave their new look squads.

Cap space could be very valuable or not valuable at all.

In this draft, it won't be valuable at all, in my opinion.  There was a rule added that teams retain a permanent "right of first refusal", allowing them to keep their keepers indefinitely.  That means that Lebron, Wade, Amare', Bosh, etc., will all essentially be restricted free agents.

G'head, match my 22 million per contract offer.  ;)

So champkind is now on the clock correct, while slugger and crownsy can make their picks at anytime or am I looking at the wrong times?

Ok then.  The Pacers select Zaza Pachulia.

Pacers are interested in gaining another pick this round.    Roger Mason Jr is available for a team that wants a true deep threat.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
My internet went down, so I have to update via bb.

Hakim Warrick, please.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Just to clarify I was adding up my Cap figure just to see where i was and to see how balanced it is --- not to use to lure FA's.

No star FA's are comign to MIL... yet  ;) But we think we can retain our young talent while exisiting as a smaller market team.

Cap space isn't more or less valuable but good cap management is always essential in building a team, IMO.

With its two picks, New Orleans is looking for a defensive-minded wing who can score a little and a big man project to back up Yao.  So...

New Orleans selects Dahntay Jones and DeAndre Jordan

The Chicago bulls share this opinion.

we looked long and hard at D. Jones with our pick at #10 but decided we needed more outside shooting than he could provide.  Nice player though.

I hope the other guy we were looking at at 5.10 is there on Monday at 6.10...!

In fact if anyone has a late 5th/early 6th and wants to jump up a round in say the 7th or 8th let me know. (i.e. my 6.10, 7.10 for your 5.2x/6.x, 8.x)

Yeah, Jordan is just based on potential; he's disappointed a bit this year but big men are always slow to develop - how good was Perk at 21?  But Jones gives us versatility and D off the bench.

Jordan is only 21, has the size and athletecism to be a star someday. I considered taking him over Thabeet. Two great picks.

Jordan's got the physical tools, but will he put it together?

I blame Coach Dunleavy, and GM Dunleavy.
