Round 6 technically begins at midnight; if people (starting with Lucky17) want to make picks over the weekend, they should feel free to do so.

i was hoping you'd say that......this has been wicked fun Roy....tp again

Thanks for the TP.  I'm glad it's a success, especially after some of the things that went wrong over the summer.

id say a giant success

Yup ... I've enjoyed it thoroughly, (TP to Roy). Wasn't here for the summer problems so I can't relate, but I'm much more interested about getting involved in fantasy sports now, thanks to this. I love the idea of doing similar with historic teams ... maybe polling to choose a year, and then run the "Pick Two" from the rosters of that year. It would be a great way for us all to renew our knowledge of past eras, and get the younger folks involved in learning more about the history of the NBA and it's great players of the past.

Ditto---kudos to Roy.

Glad I checked in this weekend and found out this is still running over between now and Monday.  I'll be checking my messages regularly but I may not pick until Monday (if we get that far)

I have a player in mind for this pick, and will most likely be making a selection tomorrow.

I'd also be interested in moving up from the early seventh round, if anyone has a pick in this round they would consider trading.

I got riah's list.

I'm also making my selection now. Might be a little bit of a reach, but I don't think he'd last another round for me to take in the 7th.

With the first pick in the 6th round, Toronto selects Jonas Jerebko.

Truck Lewis selects Marcus Thorton

On a related note. I HATE this pick. I would never draft this kid. And if I did - say, for example in three different fantasy drafts - then I would cut bait at the first excuse, no matter how much I'd touted him in the summer.

True story.

Truck --- by "hate this pick", WW means he loves it. But he can't admit that love because after touting Thornton in the Celticsblog Draft this summer he went out and got him on his 3 fantasy teams, only to doubt himself and waive Thornton who had been trapped low on the N.O. depth chart. Now anytime anyone mentions Thronton now WW goes to a very dark place.

In unrelated news, Ubuntu Y'all is making a push for a top-10 finish (after languishing in 18th place most of the year) behind some kid named Marcus Thornton I grabbed off the waiver wire.  :'(

TP even though he's sidelined with a bruised back WW.
