The Pick Two Draft Thread

Thanks for the TP.  I'm glad it's a success, especially after some of the things that went wrong over the summer.

Yup ... I've enjoyed it thoroughly, (TP to Roy). Wasn't here for the summer problems so I can't relate, but I'm much more interested about getting involved in fantasy sports now, thanks to this. I love the idea of doing similar with historic teams ... maybe polling to choose a year, and then run the "Pick Two" from the rosters of that year. It would be a great way for us all to renew our knowledge of past eras, and get the younger folks involved in learning more about the history of the NBA and it's great players of the past.

Trade 7.8 and 7.28 for a 6th rounder above the 21st pick but below the 10th in the 6th round

On a related note. I HATE this pick. I would never draft this kid. And if I did - say, for example in three different fantasy drafts - then I would cut bait at the first excuse, no matter how much I'd touted him in the summer.

why? he is having a solid rookie year, especially now that CP3 is out.

Truck --- by "hate this pick", WW means he loves it. But he can't admit that love because after touting Thornton in the Celticsblog Draft this summer he went out and got him on his 3 fantasy teams, only to doubt himself and waive Thornton who had been trapped low on the N.O. depth chart. Now anytime anyone mentions Thronton now WW goes to a very dark place.

In unrelated news, Ubuntu Y'all is making a push for a top-10 finish (after languishing in 18th place most of the year) behind some kid named Marcus Thornton I grabbed off the waiver wire. 

TP even though he's sidelined with a bruised back WW.
