The San Antonio Spurs select Leandro Barbosa

I'm a bit surprised that Barbosa was still available ... I think the bench's are going to be very interesting ... lots of hidden teasures there. ;)

IMO, here as in the Celticsblog Draft, teams are built first on the fitting together of the starters, but then the skill with which people fill out their benches.

Some teams just figure my 5 is good enough, but as we'll see here and in a few weeks when we do the 2009 CB reassessment, a bench is a terrible thing to waste :)

That's the approach I'm taking this time around.

See you on Tuesday!

Let's hope so. My bench was nasty.

I agree with the bench sentiment, titles are won in the later rounds of cb drafts. Here were some of my bench players.
Tyreke Evans
Danilo Gallanari
Jason Kapono
Eddie House.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

#8 is still up in the air, but I might as well get things rolling with the #1.  After a brief flirtation with a certain Miami power forward, I've decided to take a 6th man who can provide versatility and playmaking off the bench.

New Orleans selects Boris Diaw

Boris is having an off year but he's only 27 and allows us to give teams a lot of different looks.  I'm already drooling thinking about running pick-and-rolls into the high-low passing game with Paul, Boris, and Yao.

Just wanted to mention that I was looking to move Zach Randolph for a player and 3rd and fourth or fifth round picks

Yesterday

Today I am quite happy with my frontcourt but will entertain offers for Zach Randolph

Today there are no 3rd rounders available so the offer has to be sweet

Sweeter than what I am getting and I am getting offers

He is definitely available, but at the right price

Zach Randolph has turned a corner in his career for the first time being on a good team in a good situation and much like Rasheed Wallace when he went to the Pistons has a chance to shine as an ALL-Star and major contributor to a playoff team for years to come

Want him

Also

I am willing to package 5.21, 6.21 and 7th for a 4th and 8th rounder

I can be flexible with how high the 7th rounder is depending upon where your picks are located

PM me if interested

I will field offers for my pick this round (4/14).

I am also interested in talking to teams that are short on picks who might want to turn a mid-week pick next week into several later picks (e.g., a 7th or 8th for two or three later picks).
