Willing to listen to offers for the 2nd pick in round 2. My percentage of keeping the pick will go down if the player I'm eyeing gets picked 1st. Pm me with offers.

As long as you get a decent pg to push the tempo and get those guys the ball you're team will be very very good.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

If you stock the rest of your team with some defenders.

I feel that a team with Kevin Martin and Amare Stoudamire two guys who can really score but can't play defense should consern themselves with outscoring team like the current Phoenix suns do.

The Suns were contenders only when they had Shawn Marion, probably the second best defender in the league next to KG during that period.

I've always been curious as to how good Marion was defensively. I know he rebounded extremely well and got a lot of steals (partly due to the up tempo system) but I never thought he was an elite defender.

I think Iggy is a very very good defender but I feel if you are to have a really good defense it starts with a shot blocker on the back end. So I guess I would say a shot blocking center is extremely important.

However, without a fast break point guard I think their high powered offense has trouble starting.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
There has been a trade:

New Orleans is sending David West and the rights to their 4th round pick (21) to Sacramento for the rights to their 2nd (1) and 4th (1) round pick.

I really like it for Sacto, curious to see who the Hornets are going to grab with this pick.

Same here.  I think David West was  better than any player left, personally.

thats what it came down to for me, there was a player or 2 i really liked available, but felt West was better than them enough to justify the 20 player drop in the 4th round

Well, might as well get the ball rolling for today.

New Orleans selects Yao Ming.  High risk/reward, of course, but the best oop thrower in the league tossing them to Yao is too tempting to resist.  And if he doesn't get healthy or mesh with the team, he's a big expiring next year for whoever regrets their offseason moves.  Plus his built-in fanbase will give the Hornets new, desperately needed revenue streams.
