Quibble:  Lebron made the Finals, before getting swept by the Spurs.

You're right. (TP) Well, punch one more big hole in my argument.

I hope it says "forgettable 2007 Finals" somewhere on NBA.com or ESPN.

I don't think Kevin Martin will be a good fit in Washington, Maybe he is on the move?

Sacramento sends Kevin Martin and the rights to their 8th round pick (1) to

Washington for Caron Butler and the rights to their 3rd round pick (2)

Drives home how low Butler's value has sunk.

huh?

Well, pretty much what IP just said. Martin is the better player, but not by an order of a 3rd for 8th swap. Certainly not with Kevin coming off another injury and still unsteady alongside Evans.

Now, Butler has done it to himself. The Wizards are awful, and Butler is the very next in line for blame after Arenas. He's having the worst season of his career. Still you got him at good value.

oh ok,,,,yes caron is having a down season, but the kings believe it is his environment bringing him down.  I think Kevin Martin is a fine player but has never been one of my favorites and Caron has always been as others would say one of my binkies.

Tuff Juice has been one of mine too. Just a tough driven player. Everyone in Washington is playing like garbage now so I wouldn't worry about the off year. I would have traded Martin for Butler straight up and considered it a deal.

plus whenever you can get a guy who:

A: chews straws all day long, including during games and can identify any straw blindly by texture;
B: almost had to go to rehab for a Mountain Dew addiction; and
C: may or may not have almost made me cry on Oprah

you have to do it
