Well the sixers are happy to draft J.R. Smith with the second pick of round 2.

He's got some character issues, but he's a big-time talent.

I enjoy that the Nuggets front office couldn't even come to a consensus on how to handle his latest temper tantrum.

"Talk to him."
"I talked to him last time."
"Well, I'm through talking to him."
"Let's suspend him."
"We'd still have to pay him!"
"Maybe Chauncey will talk to him."

Hahahaha... awesome.

Tell me... is Ricky Rubio fair game?  The T'Wolves currently own his NBA rights, and he's on that big list at the beginning of the thread...

With the third pick in the second round, the Clippers are pleased to announce that they have selected Ricky Rubio.  They are confident that terms can be reached to get him in Los Angeles sooner rather than later.

Wow, big move for Rubio...I'd thought about taking a crack at him in a couple more rounds, but this is a bold move at this spot.  The Clips are putting together an intriguing roster.

Tough to gauge whether this might have been a reach at this point.

Regardless, he's a good point guard for a team of the future. Makes a nice core with Griffin and Gay.

JR will be fine...I dont anticipate and issues...he is from New Jersey so hopefully playing semi close to home will keep him happy and out of trouble.
