add this to about 8 of the losses where they played a horrid 3rd quarter and it ended up costing them.....atlanta (twice), 76ers, dallas, chicago, clippers, warriors.....this team is lost....

I feel like I'm abused when I stay up to watch these games. I mean, good first half and then total collapse in the second, this is horrible to watch one time but 3 games in a row? Wow.

I'm angry, sad and disgusted. And the Celtics speeches after the game, saying they have to get back on their focus, etc, will just make me more angry.

We are losing ground in the Eastern Conference to Atlanta and Orlando by losing to crappy teams. Pathetic.

I say bring Robinson because this team desperately needs a fire.

Well it wasn't completely his fault but since it was his return I have to post this, plus I just made it. Bring on Nate, it's time for a shake up.

That may be the best picture ever on this board awesome!

Every Pistons highlight has a moving screen in it.
At least they were setting screens. We weren't doing anything at all on offense.

True.

Giving up the UNCONTESTED 3 pointer to Daye to end the 1st half gave the Pistons life....C's think they are better than they are.

I think the refs should come out and criticize Sheed tonight for playing like a corpse. That would be fair.

Reality: WE HAD THE BEST TEAM IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE STATISTICALLY WITH KG IN THE LINEUP.

HATERS CAN CONTINUE TO IGNORE THIS.

And vinnie, you really think KG doesn't close out quicker than Sheed did on that Villanueva 3? hahahahahah.

I love guys who watch the games with their eyes closed and don't see this team falling apart. Can Eddie House not shoot because KG is out? Can Ray Allen not defend because KG it out? Is Sheed ommpletely ineffective because KG is out? Does Big Baby get stuffed almost every time he goes up for a layup because KG is out? Open your eyes. The Pistons were without THREE key players tonight.

KG makes everyone on our team better and more confident. It's a fact. Look at the stats. Look at the games.

Like those back-to-back losses against the Clippers and Warriors right before he went out.

Oh, but we were without Pierce. He's our other heart! Everyone knows you need 2 hearts to live, right?

We are playing worse, and it's not a quick 1-player fix. Especially when that 1 player is nothing like what he used to be on offense or defense.

I didn't watch the game with my eyes closed. I was half expecting the 3rd quarter collapse to be honest. My issue is with people writing off the entire big 3 era, even though the cog that makes it all work is absent. KG gets everyone better looks on offense and is the missing piece of the defense.

Sheed is ineffective because KG is out. He is a 20-25 mpg player at this point and can't handle starting.

Didn't big baby have things figured out last year and now is not in game shape yet? Yes. He has a track record.

Losing tonight was not acceptable, but it's not as if the championship trophy hopes were diminished. I am embarrassed by the loss, but you guys were freaking out when the Pacers beat us.

Number 1 D in the league with KG. Number 8 O. We've been a rock in the ocean since he's been out.

Starting to look like the Pistons on 06 (or was it 07?), 2 years after the title year. The year they went to turn it up and found they couldnt do it anymore (before that, they could coast and bring it on demand).

Consider. Sheed want meant to be starting, he was supposed to be PJ Brown. The rest of the bench hasnt stepped up. Still think they need to platoon Paul and Ray. And they desperately need a sub for Rajon.

im embarassed to be a Celtic fan right now

me too.  me too.

Not me. I've survived 29+ years as a DieHard Fan.

I've survived being on a ship back in the 90's where one of the loudest crew members would see me in the mess hall, full of people, and say "Hey how about those Celtics"...he had fun back then.

We'll get through this. And some of you may be tired of how I view things, but I am just not buying that the Celtics are finished this season. Not buying it all.

Every team we play has a vulture mentality right now - they see that we are not playing well, and in turn that makes them play harder for the kill.

And it doesn't help that Boston is not playing consistently at all.

But they will.

Again everyone knows KG makes the Celtics better.  Yao Ming makes the Rockets better.  Oden makes the Blazers better.  Redd makes the Bucks better.  Any team missing an injured player would be better with that player in the lineup.

To see that it's apparent that the expectations for this team are that they can't win games anymore because KG is out is just ludicrous.  A team with 2 hall of famers and an all star point guard can't beat a Piston team that is decimated by injuries and had lost 14 of 17 games.

If that is the reality of this team then they are in SERIOUS trouble...

Lethargic looking C's team on the floor again tonight. Charlie V looked all-world, as did Rodney Stuckey. Besides a couple of quick cuts to the basket by Ray near the end, nobody had the balls to go inside on this team. Why not??
