  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Yeah... We kind of had to play defense that play.

Well, what's that song by Orphan Annie..."The sun will come out, tomorrow..."

Seriously People. Yes the team is having issues right now and seems to have lost their rudder big time, but it's still January.

Most of us have realized that Boston won't tear through the league like 2007-2008, including me.

But Boston will be back on track soon. Count on it.

And this game still isn't over.

  • Rondo = Good
It used to be the case that the game goes as Rondo goes... it's really scary that this is no longer the case.

That was when he was surrounded by talented players that brought effort and intensity every night.

It's hard to run a winning offense when you're not surrounded by winners.  Right now, Rondo isn't.

Reality: WE HAD THE BEST TEAM IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE STATISTICALLY WITH KG IN THE LINEUP.

HATERS CAN CONTINUE TO IGNORE THIS.

And vinnie, you really think KG doesn't close out quicker than Sheed did on that Villanueva 3? hahahahahah.

I think the next game they should simply go into Perk on every offensive posession to see if he ends up with more turnovers or points.

Well, Rondo used to be the X-factor. We'd get good performances from our all-stars, and Rondo was the extra piece that would consistently put us over the top.

Now Rondo is the best player on the team, and it's not just because he's gotten better...

this team plain sucks

No they don't be positive --- even though we brought up the warning signs weeks ago and the blind optimists ridiculed the astute observations.

KG is out KG is out KG is out === that is the ONLY excuse left.  Even though Detroit is more depleted by injuries than the Celtics.

Plz dude. If you could just stop calling out the people that are being positive (not that many in a game like this) cuz you're literally asking for people to bite and reply to your posts, instead of criticizing the game. You're looking to get a flame war started and that's not what we want on this board.

Keep your comments game related.

Paul Pierce dominated the first quarter then did nothing for the rest of the game.  Rondo dominated the first half then largely disappeared.  Eddie and Ray did nothing all night.  Perk turned the ball over and basically did nothing.  Rasheed was outplayed by Villanueva.

It really does seem like teams have figured the Celtics out.  How else can you explain game after game failures after halftime.  It's like the opposing coaches go in and make a few minor adjustments while Doc just thinks everything will stay the same.

After yet another 2nd half collapse it has to be PAINFULLY obvious to any logical observer that this team has suddenly become a mediocre team that has shown no sign of correcting their problems...
