no kg and no daniels - yeah, we should be beating detroit anyway, but we're a much different team with both of those guys on the court. plus, ray allen can't buy a shot. that doesn't happen often. if ray could hit anything, we'd probably have the lead.

agreed. we're playing bad tonight. but if we're healthy come playoff time, we're one of the top 2-3 teams in the league.

meh...i am not so sure about that...and that is a big IF

We are not that bad. We just need Doc to take his head off his butt and make minor adjustments. The pistons figured out our offense and are daring Perkins and Big Baby to beat them.

Figured out our offense?....Doc has an offensive plan?....since when?

Well, I'm not sure its a plan, but whatever the picks and cuts for Allen and Pierce are. Teams figure out that is just a matter of having someone on the other side and daring Perk and Davis to beat us.

KG will be back soon

Even I cant be good without heart... ;)

I'll believe that one player can change an entire team's heart when I see it.

so what will be the excuse on friday when they get beat at home by a depleted portland team with KG back? this team has shown me zero since christmas. finals contender? whatever

Number 1 Defense and Number 8 offense w/KG.

You can't really phrase your comment like this because there's little chance he will be close to 100%.

Seriously everyone gets that KG is a great player and is out.  But do you honestly believe that this current Celtic lineup should lose to teams like Detroit?  That they are somehow incapable of playing solid basketball without KG?  They figured out how to win without him last year.   Injuries are part of the game and great teams overcome them instead of coming up with excuses.

These are the losers of 14 of 17 games in the Pistons.
To think that some fans view the C's as incapable of beating the dregs of the league now is a sad commentary on the state of this team.

True. I'm a Piston so I thought you were just making excuses. But you guys are going to be good if you can get healthy. What I would be worried about is what happened to us after having back-to-back Finals appearances. We didn't fight after that in games we should have.

A team like the Cavs will be a lot more hungrier, and you have to worry about that more than anything.
