I've been saying this for awhile now---Ray Allen is FINISHED---We can get a BOATLOAD of talent for his contract---and we NEED to do it...Cause, if we don't--it's gonna be a LONG time before we get back to the Finals---The Lakers will have Banner # 18 Before us.

This is the year to trade Ray--Lots of teams willing to deal--We let him expire, and we get NOTHING---and we'll only have the MLE to sign a mediocre player next year...We could get a stud NOW---Amare,Bosh,CP3....someone--!!

Does Ray Aleen have enough ubuntu to be 6th man?
To who? Who'd you start over him? House? Allen??

Point taken, but its seems with Paul and Ray together, the club gives up a lot of speed and athleticism on the wing. So Start Tony. And partner Ray with Walker.
Doubt that'd work in our favor, but I still would like to see it happen.

Reality: WE HAD THE BEST TEAM IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE STATISTICALLY WITH KG IN THE LINEUP.

HATERS CAN CONTINUE TO IGNORE THIS.

And vinnie, you really think KG doesn't close out quicker than Sheed did on that Villanueva 3? hahahahahah.

I love guys who watch the games with their eyes closed and don't see this team falling apart. Can Eddie House not shoot because KG is out? Can Ray Allen not defend because KG it out? Is Sheed ommpletely ineffective because KG is out? Does Big Baby get stuffed almost every time he goes up for a layup because KG is out? Open your eyes. The Pistons were without THREE key players tonight.

Um...yes?  When KG is in the game, better ball movement, more in-rhythm spot-ups for the shooters.  It's long been obvious that KG's help D is a huge reason why our perimeter defenders look so good.  When KG is in Sheed is playing the backups, so yeah he'll look better.  Etc.

And the "Pistons were without 3 key players" line is tired.  Do you think there is a chance on earth that the Cs would trade a healthy KG for a healthy Ben Gordon, Tayshaun Prince and whoever?  No?  So why on earth do you keep trying to make it seem like that's a bigger loss for the Pistons?

Gordon, Prince, and Bynum for KG? Deal

maybe rasheed's lack of character is bleeding into this group - they've never been this lazy and unmotivated. he is the big change on this team from the last two seasons.

but 30 points in the 2nd half ?  what the hell is going on with this team ??  problem is much deeper than garnett's injury.

i'll always remember larry bird saying when he quit coaching the pacers that it was his experience that players quit listening to the same coaching voice after 3 - 4 seasons.

the celts just look worn out. maybe the age and the relentless fight to be champions - especially the past two seasons have just taken their toll. when you don't get many easy wins, when every nite out takes a big effort, eventually it wears a team out mentally and emotionally.

this team has never been one that gets a lot of easy baskets. the celts have been grinders on offense and defense these past three seasons and that will take it out of an older group like boston. add a lazy slob like rasheed and it gets worse.

The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Actually, I think it's better to play good to elite teams after a losing streak that going against them riding on a winning streak. You get in with "Oh well, we have nothing to lose" mentality and you can actually win with much more ease than if you are "defending" a winning streak.

Worst argument ever.

Gordon, Prince, and Will Bynum might not add up to the hall-of-famer Kevin Garnett, but they are three guys that extremely important to their team.

It gives Stuckey more options on offense, and Bynum and Prince are better defensive upgrades over Jerebko and Chucky Atikins.

The Pistons are a 5-8th seed if healthy all season (currently one of the worst records in the league), for them to beat the Celtics without three important role-players (they don't have a superstar you know), as opposed to the Celtics missing one key player, is pathetic. No matter how you spin it.

After the back to back losses to the Clippers/Warriors everyone said to remain calm things would be fine.  After blowing a big lead at home to the 76ers there was no need to worry.  After losing to the Hawks 3 times and blowing a big lead in the last game everything was OK.  After losing to a 3 win road team in the Bulls it was fine since the C's were tired.  After blowing a big lead against a Mavs team playing the 2nd game of a road back to back it was OK.

Now after losing to an injury depleted Piston team that had lost 14 of 17 games is it time to worry yet?

How far does this team have to sink before it becomes obvious that a huge change is needed?

They sure are mounting up, those L's that are "just not to be worried about."

It is time. Let there be a move as soon as one can be done, which is hopefully very soon. Something as small as adding Nate Robinson would suffice I think because he brings energy off the bench everynight for the Knicks. Or, if we could do something major by landing a guy like Bosh, I'd definitely be all for that as well.

About the argument that we need to make a move:

If we play as uninspired as we do, it doesn't mean poo all whether you got LBJ, Kobe, Dwade, Howard and CP3 or Walker, Giddens, Tony, Scal and hell, Miki.

We need to come out to play. Skill is not the problem, heart is.

What is puzzling to me is that we played really well without KG last year.

Baffled as to what is the issue, but still believe they will get through this.
