not that it really matters but why the hell did they get the ball at half court?

Yeah, they should have had to take it out under their basket----they only had 2 seconds to get it over half court.

im embarassed to be a Celtic fan right now this teams energy level or lack thereof and committment to not playing second halves is just sad.  We beat every team we play in the first half and then play the oh we already won game in the second half.
The NBA..where "this whole sport is a business and the referees decide games and David Stern is a snake and is only in this for the money" happens.

Well, what's that song by Orphan Annie..."The sun will come out, tomorrow..."

Seriously People. Yes the team is having issues right now and seems to have lost their rudder big time, but it's still January.

Most of us have realized that Boston won't tear through the league like 2007-2008, including me.

But Boston will be back on track soon. Count on it.

And this game still isn't over.
it is only going to get worse folks...

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Reality: WE HAD THE BEST TEAM IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE STATISTICALLY WITH KG IN THE LINEUP.

HATERS CAN CONTINUE TO IGNORE THIS.

And vinnie, you really think KG doesn't close out quicker than Sheed did on that Villanueva 3? hahahahahah.

I love guys who watch the games with their eyes closed and don't see this team falling apart. Can Eddie House not shoot because KG is out? Can Ray Allen not defend because KG it out? Is Sheed ommpletely ineffective because KG is out? Does Big Baby get stuffed almost every time he goes up for a layup because KG is out? Open your eyes. The Pistons were without THREE key players tonight.

Well it wasn't completely his fault but since it was his return I have to post this, plus I just made it. Bring on Nate, it's time for a shake up.

Every Pistons highlight has a moving screen in it.

At least they were setting screens. We weren't doing anything at all on offense.

this team plain sucks

No they don't be positive --- even though we brought up the warning signs weeks ago and the blind optimists ridiculed the astute observations.

KG is out KG is out KG is out === that is the ONLY excuse left.  Even though Detroit is more depleted by injuries than the Celtics.

Plz dude. If you could just stop calling out the people that are being positive (not that many in a game like this) cuz you're literally asking for people to bite and reply to your posts, instead of criticizing the game. You're looking to get a flame war started and that's not what we want on this board.

Keep your comments game related.

Pitiful effort tonight by the Celtics.  Pitiful second half against a terrible Detroit team.  Pitiful offense and defense after halftime.  Pitiful performance by Eddie, Perk, and Ray.  Pitiful second half for Rondo and Pierce.  Pitiful coaching by Doc to get beaten again after halftime.

The Bulls loss was bad enough --- to lose to a terrible Detroit team that is more depleted by injuries than the Celtics and had lost 14 of 17 games is...

PITIFUL

KG makes everyone on our team better and more confident. It's a fact. Look at the stats. Look at the games.
