i dont understand what they are trying to do in detroit...i feel a fire sale coming on

Rebuilding. They're not trying to win the championship this year. It's a team in transition, hit by injuries.

Their entire offseason made no sense.

Yeah I thought they were going to save their cap space for 2010, but they were too impatient. Dumar is really an overrated Gm.

does ray allen play for us anymore?

Seriously. Supposed to be the Rip vs Ray show, but it is the Stuckey/Rondo show instead.

A bunch of role players, who don't even play those roles well.

Save it like every other team is doing in the league? That would have been a better idea. I would rather over-pay for Gordon(26) and Villanueva (24) then over-pay for Boozer.

Yes. Not a guy with the luxury to eliminate the upfake from his game.

We can't get a rebound tonight. Whenever we get one we fumble it and Detroit takes the possession back... frustrating.

It's amazing how poorly this team is rebounding the ball.  They should be up 20 easily right now with the energy and great defense.

At least 5 times tonight Detroit has gotten a score due to having 3 shots or by the Celtics turning it over under the basket.  These kind of plays often turn into 4 point swings and illustrate why this team is having so much trouble putting teams away recently.

Charlotte has been one of the best teams in the league so far in January.  I think they're on a 7 or 8 game streak.

I'm not surprised by it anymore.  We have a very bad rebounding team.  That's just how it is.

if boston could get rebounds this would be a 20 point game...2 turnovers under the Cs rim AFTER getting a rebound has led to 4 cheap points...close this half out strong please
