why does it feel like boston should be up huge right now?
Um, could it be because the Pistons suck?  They play no defense whatsoever but somebody forgot to send the memo to the Celtics.

I don't know how that couldn't have been a double dribble on Perk.

Definitely a double dribble - see, the refs suck for every team!

lets see if the celtics actually show up in the third...they can really blow this team out if the can get rebounds and stop turning the ball over

It is literally shocking to see the Celtics only up 8 points.  Other than a few missed free throws they have played well offensively.  They played great defense and have forced double digit turnovers.

However they have failed to rebound even adequately and continuously give the Pistons 2 or 3 chances to score.

The Celtics appeared to dominate the half and wind up only 8 points which is very concerning.  They cannot even put away bad teams even when dominating the game.  Keep in mind this is a Piston team that has lost 14 out of 17 games and is missing several key players.

The Celtics simply have to take control of this game in the 3rd quarter.  They cannot come out lethargic and have the Pistons get right back in the game.  For once they need to keep the throttle down and finish off a terrible opponent.

Definitely shocking. Jaw-dropping, amazing and simply breath-taking. I think several people died due to heart attacks due to the above. Shock-ing.

;)

yeah..if i had watched this game without the score..i would have thought boston was up major.......4 plays stand out:

the 2 rebounds that were turned over under their own hoop that led to 4 points....the charlie V 3...daye's luck 3....that is 10 easy piston points

No rebounding so far Detroit is getting lots of chances inside.  Stuckey is dominating with 9 points already.

Not sure which game is on your tv.

Celtics are getting outrebounded 22-13.  Detroit has gotten at least 10 points due to 2nd and 3rd shot opportunities.

Just woke up to see that we're up 8pts at halftime! can anybody sum up how we've played so far? from what I can see PP and Rondo had a solid 1st half...

Died?  Oh no hopefully not too many.  Heart attacks are possible though after watching the C's dominate against a terrible team and still fail to maintain a double digit lead.

Here's a TP to go with that nice warm feeling in your groin area. .edit: ugh.

You might wanna switch pants before it gets cold.

And maybe a shower before the game continues :p

we get outrebounded because our pf stands out on three point line on defense too!  ;D
