Fantastic Four.

Definitely the best of the FF4 movies.  I'd give it a B/B+.

I thought they did a great job with Silver Surfer and Galactus.  Thing was well done, too. All of the special effects were spot on; I didn't feel taken out of the movie at all.

There was relatively little action overall, which led to some dull moments.  I didn't love the chemistry of the team overall.  Sue seemed overpowered, and Reed didn't strike me as the smartest guy in the world.  I miss Chris Evans as Johnny.

Overall, it's definitely watchable.  It will be interesting to see what happens in the next Avengers movie.

Has anyone seen Freaky Tales?  I caught the end of it last night, with a fictional story based around Sleepy Floyd's record breaking 4th quarter against the Lakers in the 1987 playoffs.  In turns into a full on Uma Thurman in Kill Bill vengeance martial arts killing spree.  Pretty bizarre, but kind of well done for what they were going for.  I haven't seen the rest of the movie, but apparently there are 4 similar type stories all based in Oakland.
Yup

Finally got around to seeing F1. Very enjoyable theater experience.

It hit all the sports movies tropes and didnt deviate from the classic formula that all those types of movies seem to stick to - the main character is a grizzled old verteran well past his glory days who comes in and clashes with the cocky young buck with a big ego, but ultimately they bond while working towards a common goal and become friends in the process and yada yada yada. The characters and story werent complex or deep and didnt need to be. This movie knew what it was and wasnt really trying to say anything of substance - and thats OK.

Saw the entire movie on the plane. A little out there with the stories, but the soundtrack and vibe was on point. It?s not a movie I?d pay money to watch but if you are into indie movies and is open mind by not selecting a safe movie, this could work. I?d give a C- but I can definitely see people getting into this movie.
