the game series has strayed from its roots to include action games, and has sold 45 million units as of March 2011.[1] The Resident Evil media franchise has been expanded to comic books, novels and novelizations, sound dramas, live-action and computer-generated feature films, and a variety of collectibles, such as action figures and strategy guides.

Just watched the Tillman Story.

Interesting to say the least. Definitely worth watching if you didn't follow the story beyond the initial 2004 media coverage.

He was definitely a different breed. Besides the obvious of leaving professional sports to join the Army with his younger brother, he never owned a cell phone or a car. Unlike most athletes (and much like his fellow soldiers), he is a true hero.

I watched A Man Named Pearl last night.  Really nice documentary about a black man from rural South Carolina who taught himself how to make topiary trees in his yard.  Very inspiring and sweet story.

Yup

My taste in movies is very pedestrian.  I love westerns...old and new.  I especially love Tom Selleck westerns.  Now watching "Crossfire Trail"...

Charlie Wilson's War.
2 stars (out of 5).
It started out great, but then they cropped together a bunch of stuff and moved way to quickly starting about half way through the movie.  A real shame, could've been good.

Loved this movie.  It was shameful how the government twisted the facts to their own benefit.  But what else is new.

eja, besides me, you are the only person not to like "Chinatown"...we should for a "march to another drummer" or "tasteless few" club, ha ha ha.  (Although I still can't claim to have actually seen it.  I keep falling asleep when it is on.)
