Truly excellent last 6 minutes of that half. Just some great shut down defense and loved Pierce on Wade defensively and Rondo the whole quarter.

People don't give Paul enough credit for his defense, but he's one of the few players that can effectively shut down, (or I should say bother), players like D-Wade and Kobe. I'll never forget how frustrated Kobe was in game 6 of the playoffs ... Pierce shut him down in that game, and just went off at the other end ... that game was one of my best Celtics memories ever.

I agree, Bahku..Pierce doesn't get enough credit for his defense. I believe it will take him getting another Ring for some credit to start coming his way.

He did play solid D on Kobe in that series..my favorite game, though, was that game 4 win in LA...that may have been my favorite C's win of ALL time, in my 29 yrs of being a fan.

And then Ray Allen went on the ESPYs that summer and said, "Another win in LA", LOL...and then the camera panned over to Derrick Fisher and he looked STEAMED..classic!!

Quick without looking, guess how old Jermaine Oneal is?

30? He's pretty young i knwo that
He is 31. I find it shocking personally. I feel like he looks like a 35 year old. I know he has been in the league a long time, but he also did not play for his first four season or so either.

Any Sox fans out there catch the news update that the Sox are now in talks for Hanley Ramirez. Huge, huge, huge news.

Let me correct that. Huge, huge, huge news ...if it were ever to happen.

That would be amazing ... truly. Sorry, but I gotta give you a TP for that ... man, I would LOVE to see that happen! Wow!

Thirty large for saying he hates flopping and that NBA refs reward guys for it when the NBA front office came forward last year saying that flopping would warrant game ejections and suspensions if it continued??

Rather hypocritical, don't you think? Of course if LeBron made the same comments there would probably rule changes to get flopping permanently outlawed like they changed the traveling rules for him after he disagreed with how traveling was being called.

Yes!  Let's keep this going.  My 3-week headache is showing signs of subsiding.

3rd quarter, Bud ... Celts up by 11 I think ... KG has been on fire, and they're playing defense again ... I'm lovin' it!

14 in a row for KG! (anchor guy is wrong - he made his last shot in the Philly game)

lol I stated that I would rather trade for Hanley Ramirez over Roy Halladay in another thread a couple days ago and I got chewed out for it because it's so unlikely. I really hope it happens so I can create a "Told You So" thread and people can shower me in Tommy Points and then I can return the favor to everyone!
