Looking much more like the old Celtics, but like K said, they've got a ways to go. I'm encouraged ... better energy at both ends.

Seriously, the calls are getting absolutely utterly ridiculous.

Yeah ... I used to like Bennett, but he's gone the way of Bavetta, and seems to have an axe to grind with the Celtics.

I'm just puzzled at how many T's Sheed gets. I swear not even half of them are remotely T-worthy.

Pretty much.
He yelled "And 1" after hitting a shot and getting slapped on the wrist.

They really do give Sheed a lot less rope, but he basically pointed at Salvatore and yelled and one, which ia a guaranteed technical these days. As for the defense, a little better in the second quarter, but how do people say they played good D in the first when they allowed 31 points? What am I missing?

I can only agree with this if by old Celtics you mean the Al Jefferson Celtics.

You'd think that the law of averages will eventually kick in and they will hold someone under .450 from the field, but it simply doesn't happen.

I think some folks (outside of Boston)have an axe to grind with the C's..I looked at some of the Youtube comments under Pierces' demolishing of Bosh dunk and out of about 140 comments, about 80-90 % were Celtics haters.

Reminds me of a an article here on CelticsBlog a few weeks ago....yes the Celtics are the most hated team in Basketball. I am convinced.

Actually I mean the old Celtics of 2007-2008 ... I would never presume to compare them with the '86 team. ;)
