There is a small semi logical argument that Iverson would want to come here, and it would work out.

Danny had to idiot proof both the roster and the coaching staff for Rivers to be even a facsimile of a functional coach.  The product defensively prior to Thibs was cartoonish.

Using Moss as an argument would require you to compare Belichick to Rivers.  There is no comparison.

Calling Iverson more sane than Marbury?  hmmm.

Iverson is more sane than Marbury....

What has AI ever done close to what Marbury has, he has never been kicked off his own team. I know the situation in Memphis was a debacle , but why would they sign a guy like Iverson and plan on bringing him off the bench ? Iverson is much more accomplished than anyone on the Memphis roster. He would just be another guy on this roster because PP,KG,Ray and Sheed are just as accomplished and he would have to fall in line. Danny wouldn't sign him unless he thought he was able to function on this team, and I think he will sign him.

I know we desperately need some more offense, but AI is just trouble. He would cause more problems than its worth. We just have to hope KG gets back to full strength.

We should definitely sign him.

If he works out, wow we are probably the most talented team to ever be constructed.

If he doesn't work out, cut him and he probably won't ever be able to sign with another NBA team ever again.

What trouble could he cause?

What is the worst thing that AI can do to us?

Quit?

If the worst thing Iverson can do to us is quit on us then he would have never phased us to start with.

It's not like our team currently is all peaches and cream.

We don't have a delicate balance to protect on our ball club.

Have people seen the defense our team has been playing the last 3 weeks? It's not very good. It's not like adding Iverson is going to hurt our defense anymore than Rondo gambling for steals like he is doing 90% of the time.
