Quote from: PosImpos on November 18, 2009, 02:09:48 PMCan we PLEASE rename this forum to the comedy forum?hey, i called it 'kooky' for a reason. butimagine the difference this would have made last year after KG's injury. then remember how ray couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in the playoffs. then it's not so funny.
Can we PLEASE rename this forum to the comedy forum?
Why would you want Rasheed AND Boozer coming off the bench? And if we were gonna trade Ray, I'd want another SG in return.

Except for the Chicago series when he had a bunch of huge games for us....

I love Ray, but it's a trade you'd the least have to consider. We'd certainly miss his free throw shooting.

WE already have KG/Sheed for the next few years.

If we knew KG wasn't going to be back at the deadline sure...But either way I still don't like the trade, we'd have an enormous hole at the 2 and two overpaid bad defensive PFs.
Well we know they want to shed some salary, and we know they want to get out of AK's contract. What about Ray for AK, Ronnie Brewer, CJ Miles?orRay, Giddens, Walker, our #1 for AK, Brewer, Harpring (just dead money, not playing) and the Knicks #1?

If they really want to get rid of AK, they could have done it already. They want value back for him. And while Ray could be value back, he is not enough for them to throw in the guy who would be AK's replacement at SF.My guess is that the only guy the Jazz will be getting rid of this year is Boozer...and it will probably be for another expiring contract, and a pick or two. Then they will reload next year with the Knicks pick, and look to trade AK's expiring contract for an elite SG.
