Redundant with Jason Terry here.

Adding Iverson would only hurt the team's balance/chemistry.

Geez....

Iverson could have an AARP card and there'd still be people clamoring to have him undermine their team.

Allen Iverson must return to the NBA, this is a shame David Stern, there is a blackballin against Iverson, I´m sure.

If Jason Kidd, Stackhouse, Billups, Nash, Fisher are playing, Iverson must to be in the NBA, incredible and incomprehensible, and now Jermaine O´Neal to Lakers? What Iverson think about this?

Iverson just needs a full training camp, when he take the shape, he is still better than 70% of guards in the league, and with 37 years, Iverson still can to score 15 points and 6 assist. It isn´t normal, a hall of fame as Iverson does not receive any offer, BLACKBALLIN¡¡¡

AI can still play any NBA team, Is better Dooling than Iverson? Please, AI deserve one last shot and Boston would be a great place, he would come for the minimum.

Not Lebron, AI Spectaculo and talent, Lebron is only muscle.

Allen Iverson: Best player in the history pound for pound.

SIMPLY LEGEND, IVERSON AND GARNETT, BEST WARRIORS EVER.

The Dooling comparison always wins me over.
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

I would take Oscar Robinson who averaged a triple double for the whole season over a volume scorer.

Allen Iverson is still available for back-up point guard duties... We could use him

Iverson has already said he wants to return to the league, the problem is Stern, he does not want to AI in the league, a player hated by Stern, like Sprenwell, as Garnett.
Iverson is 37, and that? actually like he was 34, it is clear that the form will have to take a training camp is what AI needs.
Rip Hamilton said, Iverson can still play in the NBA, with 37 years is much better than other players in the league yet, AI is infinitely better now than Fisher, Fisher is slow and old, do not understand, AI would be the ideal replacement Rondo, and Doc, KG and Pierce in the locker room, AI has much respect for them.
BRIN BACK TO THE NBA AI AND A FUTURE LEGEND HE'SA HALL OF FAME.

AI said from his own mouth he would NEVER play for the celtics. He said it last year, so why is this a discussion?

“I have already spoken to Allen about that and many other opportunities, and of course he would be interested in anywhere in the NBA but Boston is particularly attractive to him,’’ Moore said, “because of Danny Ainge, the organization, and one of the most respected coaches he knows in the business in Doc Rivers.

“He has the utmost respect for Doc Rivers and the current roster of players. Allen would relish the opportunity to play in that organization.’’ SAID GARY MOORE Last year (AI´s manager).

AI has much respect for Doc, Doc isn´t Michael Collin or Ryan Hollins.

I love AI. I couldn't be a bigger fan of his. I've wanted him on the Celtics for the past 3 seasons. The reason is because we've needed bench scoring for the past 3 seasons. This season it looks like we're loaded in that department. Terry, Lee, Green and Sully are all scoring threats and I'm not sure we have room for a shoot-first point guard on this roster. Last season he would have been perfect. This season I'm just not ready to say we need AI yet.

I would not be opposed to bringing in AI to play the 12th man role at all. He would be on a super shirt leash and any knucklehead moves he'd be shown the door. We don't need him though.

The thing is, a year or two ago, rolling the dice on AI made some sense.  We lacked scoring punch and AI potentially could've helped with that.

But now we have Jason Terry and Jeff Green on the bench (not to mention either Lee or Bradley and Sully and Wilcox).  Even if AI still can contribute, there really isn't a need for him.

We're better served at this point with a vet PG who can run some plays if Rondo misses a couple of weeks with an injury.
