My last post was edited out.  I'm really trying to post my feelings about Chris Paul w/o using an expletive and am coming up short.  It's impossible.  The guy is a lot of different expletives and is often a combination of several.

Paul and Rondo are very, very similar in personality.  It's part of what makes them great.  I like that teams don't like us.  As long as nothing happens, I hope we're driving them crazy out there.

He plays the like a sissy. Flops everywhere, and moans his way for fouls.

If I'm a coach I'd probably rather harsh words than a harsh foul.

Hopefully this gets blown under the carpet but knowing the hype machince that is the National Media, I'd say Rondo starts to get labelled a Punk.
Artest and Rodman are great examples of punks, but it is an important part of their games. I'm fine with Rondo being chippy and a general punk if he also incorporates it into his defense.

That's true, but Rondo is 6'0ft and weighs about 50lbs, we don't Rondo to be targeted even moreso driving to the basket!

Really? I'm the opposite. I'd rather a hard foul on a layup than a line of profanity laden hot air.

Honestly if you gotta draw a tech, why not draw blood too?

The media may very well label him a punk, but it's bogus. If one of their darlings like Lebron or someone does it then he's a fiery guy with competitiveness. If Artest or Sheed or Iverson or Marbury does it they're a thug. It's why people don't pay lots of attention to the media

And is generally considered the best PG in the league.

I like the fire between he and Rondo. I dont care if they fight or talk trash. They will battle to prove who is the best for years now. I bet Rondo said Paul was a scrub on a scrub team or something like that and rubbed the Championship in his face. Paul is not going to be happy with the direction his team is going so that will be a sore spot until it changes or he changes teams. The Hornets are not building anything but coming apart because of cash flow issues. I bet Rondo sunk that knife to the hilt.

I'm more worried about Rondo's ankle than what happened between him and CP3...

Hmmm. I see what you mean. I guess my answer would be because blood leads to blood. And sometimes fines or suspensions or whatnot

I had a good view of one incident between the two.  With about a minute to go, the Celts had just scored and Rondo was about 5 feet from Paul.  Rondo looked Paul dead in the eye, without an ounce of expression on his face, and nodded firmly at him. It was hard to read what Rondo meant, seemed to me be, "that's it mate, we win."  Scott called a timeout and Paul went nuts. He was acting like Rondo had punked him but there was nothing other than the nod.

True. And a hard foul can turn into a torn MCL real easy. and you never hope for that.

....unless you're down 3 in the fourth quarter of game 7 of the finals and Kobe is on fire. I'd be okay with that.

EDIT: No, not even that really. You never hope for an injury and you always hope they get up. It makes the press conference better if they lose without excuses.

Reporter: At the beginning of the season I asked you what the Boston-La thing meant to you, but you said you'd only seen it on TV. Now that you've lived through it what do you think?
Kobe: It sucks.

Actually, Chris Paul came over to Rondo initially, but Pierce got in-between them and walked CP3 off, then Rondo came back over ... it was initiated originally by Chris Paul.

Yeah the title's a bit misleading Nick.

He's not the only person who thought he saw that.
