So I assume we'll be looking to move TA/Giddens for a back-up 2?

Yah. JR was a wasted 1st round pick

1st in the east. Go Minny.

<switches over> I thought Big Al was out for awhile!  Great to see him out there.

i meant go Minny for friday against The Cavs, but i generally route for the TWolves all the time.

Enjoyed it folks!  Nice for our team to get in the Bobcats' record book, after the trouble they usually give us!

I think Williams is the BBD replacement we have been looking for.

Disagree. Williams has no offensive game.

And once Scal is back I expect him to be the 4th big, not Williams.

I hope not. I like that Sheldon works the boards. We don't need Scal and Sheed out beyond the 3 point line.

Agreed. I've been happy with what Williams brings to the floor inside. He's earning minutes, not losing them.

Well, we can quibble about what's right and what's wrong, but Scal played pretty well last playoffs and I don't expect Doc to let Sheldon displace him on the depth chart unless he dramatically outplays Scal.

Plus, I think Scal is closer to Baby in terms of offensive game than Shelden.  It might be better for preparing the team for what's eventually going to happen come playoff time (when neither Scal nor Shelden is going to get off the bench).

Wow.  Since when are the celtics so concerned about offense?  How about baby doesn't rebound well.  When you look at the fourth big on an NBA team, I would rather a player that rebounds and defends than someone with good offense (if you call an average jumper and good foot work good offense).

+1. We have enough scorers. Everyone can't be a gunner. We need role players on the 2nd unit and I would prefer a body that's going to bang, board, guard bigs and hustle. Sheed is already outside most of the time. If Shelly keeps playing the way he is, he's going to be hard to take out of the rotation.

We're allowing 70 pts per game.

Giddens played like a Bobcat, that's all I can say.

I was just shocked to see Al playing, I somehow had it in my head that he was out for a month or two.  Looks like they're limiting his minutes though.

TP here. I'm surprised by all the animosity toward Williams because he's doing EXACTLY what we're going to need from that spot in the rotation - defend like crazy, work hard and rebound. LOVED the pickup from the beginning, and I like it better now. Williams is earning minutes, not losing them. Sorry if that disappoints you.

speaking of the T-wolves, Corey Brewer is garbage. Mchale took a hustle player 7th overall.

Did Ramon Sessions really sign with the Wolves to back up Johnny Flynn?
