The only complaint I have:  38 minutes for Ray Allen?!  Doc did a good job with KG and Pierce, but definately needed to get Ray Allen off the floor when they were up big in the third.

I think Doc will alternate Pierce and Allen in games like this. Excpect Allen to be rested and Paul on the floor next blow-out.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Watching this team had me absolutely amped last night.

This team definitely has that Champions Aura to it.

I think the point is that neither should be on the court for that length of time during a blowout of this magnitude.  Starters could have been on the bench with 3-4 minutes left in the 3rd.  Game was well out of reach for Charlotte at that point.

Just trying to keep my emotions in check.

I am finding it very easy to get carried away with this team after only two games.

They have the team, but we all know the journey is long and arduous.

After this start, if Rondo signs a long term extension, my Celtic life will reach an all time high since PP won the MVP in 2008 and Larry held up the trophy in 1984 & 1986.

I really, really like the heart of this team already.

Go the Green !!!!

Cheers

Aussie

Both should Avg. somewhere around 31 - 35 minutes a game this season and I don't care how they get there. Basketball players play basketball, it's what they do.

I agree about Ray's minutes, I kept wondering why Doc wasn't getting him out of the court when the game was already won in the 3rd and all the starters were resting on the bench... Don't know what Doc thought but I hope it won't happen again in such a blowout.

Great game, Celtics made many three's in the first half and went more in the paint in the second. Perk was phenomenal (4 blocs, and what blocks!), Rondo too (double double) and the starters were all good. Sheed was Ok but I would like to see him more in the post instead of just shooting threes. House made the job in the 4th and Marquis was OK (not good shooting, and bad fouls but good passes). 2-0, and Cleveland at 0-2 : great way to start the season and get some advance for the first spot in the East.

Good stuff.. I fell asleep at half time, so I'm gonna scope the second half. Thanks for the notice.

I love how Comcast doesn't edit their replays.

KG - "Get that [poop] outta here, [brotha!]"

Surprised the FCC hasn't killed KG yet haha

Yeah ... you noticed that, too ... and this is the 3rd time this game has aired! Standards are dropping, I'm afraid.

I'm fine with it, really. I think the FCC is far too uptight with what they allow on TV and what they don't. Words don't bother me, I could understand parents with small children, but then again they allow gore and blood on primetime.

It's an interesting world we live in.
