Also, just a heads up for tomorrow, Lucky, I've got a friend who likes to draft early, so know that there are a number of guys yet to be added to Yahoo's Player List. For example, Jamaal Tinsley, Bobby Jackson, McCants, one of my personal favorites Pops Mensah-Bonsu (True story, I was responsible for having Pops added to the list last season.) and one my least favorites, Szczerbiak.

But Yahoo is still making additions in fits and starts. Flip Murray and Gabe were added to today (Good luck Gabe!).

P.S. Tommy Point for doing the unenviable work of uploading twenty sixteen-man rosters.

Won't have to worry about Tinsley; he's making the cut and staying over from last year's roster.

Seems like there are a few who want to start Week 1. I'd like to hear more responses before I make a change.

on the league start date: I don't really see a pro/con either way. I don't know that the short 1st week is a huge advantage for any one team, but i defer to others b/c i'm brand new to the league


on the block: I've been discussing the following players with another team. We may be close to mkaing a deal, this might be your last chance to make an offer on:

This was also part of my logic. It's a short first week (one fewer day), so those teams who have players playing 3 games or more have a distinct advantage.

I won't put my foot down on this, though. If more people call for play during Week 1, I'll make the switch.

8 team playoffs, 21 week regular season, starting in Week 1, playoffs in Weeks 22, 23, 24

I've got rosters ready to go, I just need to throw the switch. I'll give it until 7 PM tomorrow to arrive at consensus.

I still advocate for the shortest regular season: equal footing for regular season, and dropping the last week of the season, when stars are getting rest, makes for a more fair playoffs for us.

I think choice "a" is out and it is between "b" and "c"
  SO I would at least like to see plan "B" happen!

I like this one.  I definitely agree that the playoffs should start early, though; the championship shouldn't be decided by teams resting their stars.
