Brent to the Clips, Mardy Collins to the Cs, TA and a 2nd round pick to the Rockets.

What's the motivation for Houston?  We've seen in the past few weeks exactly how little value TA has in the league, and any second-rounder we offer is almost certainly going to be in the mid- to high-50s (unless we horribly underperform expectations).  If you substituted in "Tony Allen and Lester Hudson for Brent Barry," do you think Houston would bite?
I think Hudson has no value to an NBA team at the moment.

not Hudson himself -- a pick like the one that was used on Hudson, not that it has a lot more value in and of itself.

If we manage to trade Tony Allen for Brent Barry, I KNOW we'll have a 18th banner 09-10 season.

Veteran Leadership, a deadly threat outside, a reliable backup, a versatile player, what more can you ask for (besides the age)?

Well I don't know if Barry's talent guarantees #18, but if Danny manages to hoodwink any GM into taking Tony Allen for a serviceable player then we'll know the basketball gods are smiling upon us.
