What?

No, Ortiz will not be suspended. Unless he tests positive this year under the current steroid policy, nothing can happen to him from a disciplinary standpoint as a result of this 2003 news.

That being said, get ready for the public opinion backlash and media frenzy.

After a certain point, players being on the juice starts to look less like a competitive advantage and more like treading water.  Does it really taint the World Series wins if the Sox had players that were juicing and so did everyone else?  It definitely hurts those players' legacies individually, but unless the Sox had a lot more juicers than everyone else, it's just a sad reality that juicers were on the roster.

What makes you think he is clean?  Wasn't he the 402nd player taken in his draft class?

I mean, nobody other than maybe Greg Maddux is above suspicion in my eyes.

most guys that roided up were yankees.....clemens, Jose, arod, giambi, sheff, pettite....the roids were going through the yankees like taco bell through me...not to mention you had doc gooden and strawberry playing on the sauce....the yankees are filthy

The only reason all the guy who were outed for steroids were Yankees is because when the owner of the Red Sox ran the Mitchel report he only investigated the Yankees.  Inmagine that.  Oh wait, he looked at the Mets too to make it look better.
