Well the Kings miss the playoffs for now till you people realize I was right half way through the season. I'll even be happy if the simulation on 2k10 proves something for me.

I'd agree with that.

Golden State is a good team, but we think we match up well with them.

Uh oh...  voting controversy!

Just to further that controversy, I saw this when reviewing the ballots:

1 - Seattle
2 - Buffalo
3 - Dallas
4 - Portland
5 - Golden State
6 - Phoenix
7 - Utah
8 - Sacramento
9 - Houston
10 - Denver
11 - Minnesota
12 - San Antonio
13 - New Orleans
14 - Las Vegas
15 - Memphis

Clearly I'm a lot higher on Brandon Roy and Tim Duncan than the rest of you.

- Once your ballot is posted, there is NO EDITING.  Any ballots found to be edited will be disregarded and may expose the guilty party to punishment if they are a team owner.

It looks like that ballot may get tossed.  I doubt it will change things that much, but you never know.

I think his only edit was the bottom comment Roy. The votes are still the same.

No idea, nick.  I'll leave it up to Dons; it's not going to effect Portland's seeding either way, I imagine.  It could effect Phoenix, Golden State, or Houston, potentially, but I doubt it.

Too bad we didn't get as much voting participation as compared to the East...

Either way, i'd say the seedings (despite the controversy) look pretty good.  I view my team as a second seed anyways so i really don't think several teams got "screwed" by the SW needing a representative in the top 3.  The only seeding i see that doesn't do a team justice is Golden State; i think they're a divisional winner, not anywhere near a 6-8 seed.

Regardless, the SW playoffs are going to be real interesting.

Yeah this is some BS, I expected a 4 or a 5 seed, I think if we would have had more participation that the numbers would be closer to what I expected.
Normally I feel that votings like these are tainted because a lot of people usually vote in line with the mods, or those who are the most vocal (as in post the most about their team). However, this year has went completely against that theory, the mods mostly ranked me much higher than the 7 seed.

I agree.  I think the top six were some combination of Buffalo, Portland, Seattle, Phoenix, Golden State, and Southwest division winner (I liked Dallas).  I didn't expect to see any of those teams outside of the top six (if that's, in fact, where Golden State winds up).

Also, nick, these numbers don't quite add up.

They should all add up to a number divisible by 22, and by 120 (15 + 14 + 13 + 12, etc.)

The total of your numbers equals 2616.  They should add up to 2640.

I am disappointed that this is being tossed because I am ranked higher in this vote but,

Don was clear.  This vote needs to be tossed because of 'edit'
