Reason #103 why voting here is subjective and every vote should be counted no matter what:

I just took a look and I think I'm the only person that looked at Minnesota and saw a playoff team there. But no one agrees with me. Oh well.

and Dallas had:

Dirk Nowitski MVP
Jason Terry
Josh Howard
Devin Harris
Eric Dampier
Adrian Griffin
Marquis Daniels

Also the Dallas team that went to the Finals outrebounded their opponents by over 300 rebounds that year.

I think we are as talented as that Mavs team:

Dirk wasn't the MVP that year but he clearly outclasses us at PF.

I'd take Brook Lopez over Eric "Club hands" Dampier any day

Josh Howard 2006 and Wilson Chandler's stats are remarkably similar, especially when you remember that Chandler is one year behind Howard at this point. Howard has more points, Chandler has more blocks.

Jason Terry Gets Shredded by TP (remember Terry played point that year)

Rudy Fernandez and Marquis Daniels that year are almost carbon copies.

Adrian Griffin versus Bargs, Bargs Dominates.Same rebounding numbers and Bargs is a better scorer. And Mo Williams eats young Devin harris alive.

Kc, Will you PLEASE stop underrating Boris Diaw. It's criminal. Criminal I tell you,  8)

Boris Diaw for MVP. Most Valuable Passing-big man

Is everyone heeding my advise and waiting to vote late in the West??

Heck, I should have voted late? If I had seen how close things were between Cleveland and Washington and voted late I would have voted Washington #1 and not been questioned because everyone else did it and voted Cleveland down out of the playoffs.

It may not have been how I actually felt everyone would finish but at least it wouldn't have been so close. I almost cost myself the playoffs voting Cleveland 3rd and Washington 6th.

Josh Howard was a number 2 scoring option on a finals team. Wait. WHat am I doing telling you how good Josh Howard is?

Howard was number 3 behind Terry. And you don't have to tell me how good Josh Howard is, he's as good now as Chandler will be.

I actually subscribe to nicks idea of winning basketball: rebounding and defense. As I mentioned earlier in this thread I like Nelson/Salmons/RJ on the perimeter as 2-way players. Perimeter defense, the ability to deny penetration is a huge deal for me. It's one of the reasons GSW just missed the grade. Randolph is not a defender but offensively he can still get it done in the post and he can still rebound. Damp has veteran playoff experience as a backstop. So does Bonner who gives them a bit of a different look when needed. Those things mean something to me.

Bonne has experience a a backstop? Do you mea when balls take an awkward bounce , they hit him in the face?

Sorry poor choice of words. I meant as a 4 in place of Randolph and the fact that he like Damp is a veteran with playoff experience. People have them 11th, 12th, and 13th, and I think that is absolutely criminal. Then again I thought keeping Cleveland out of the EC playoffs was criminal too.

My team believes in defense, rebounding, size and playing the right way.  (Larry Brown insists on that last part)
