On his new book, he admits to smoking maryjane in high school.
...
That is not necessarily something surprising, although somehow I doubt that he only did it once. That would mean that he didnt even get high.
Serious yawn. I'd guess the trial rate of weed among NBA players is higher than the general public. This was always a statistical probability.
Secondly - he's probably clearing the way for the presidential run in the future - drugs in your auto-bio are the coolest, ask BHO.
not as cool as coke, thats reserved for GWB
From his book I thought it was implied that he used coke as well though. Doesn't really matter, people experiment.
yea, thats my point. I don't really care that the three of them were wild in thier youth, it happens.
Far more people experiment as yougn people, particularly with weed, and turn out all right than this country's anti-drug forces are willing to admit.
I think for one, thats the number one failing with the "scared stright" commercials that anti-drug groups continue to push.
Yes, the scenario's in those commercials COULD happen. but kids are smart. they know that trying weed probley won't lead to the end of all your hopes and dreams, they've had 3 presidents in a row, as well as a host of professionals in every field, come out and admit they tried it.
all those commercials due is enforce the notion that adults are being hypocritical with them. Being honest with them would be alot more useful.
make something Taboo, and a kid will be even more interested. speak honestly, and they might listen.
