Captain Spaulding, Fictional Character - we've seen him outsmart lost wanderers, and Redz uses him as his avatar, which shows he's doubly smart

Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget, Villain - the only thing standing between him and conquering the world is a 10 year old girl, and I don't see her anywhere - he outsmarts gadget every time

Punisher, Super Hero - smart enough to get all types of weapons...

Charles Manson, Wild Card - gotta have a genius IQ to lead a cult

Kim Jong Il, Gov't Leader - won who's smarter than a 5th grader

Marilyn Manson, Musician - master of self promotion, certainly understands the human psyche

Robert Oppenheimer, Scientist - invented the freaking a-bomb

Stewie Griffin, Cartoon Character - brilliant even as a baby

Will Solomon, Athlete - highest basketball IQ of all time

Yul Brynner, Actor - very self aware - one of my favorite quotes ever: “Whatever you do, don't do it”
When you love life, life loves you right back

Prepare to be dominated by KC's Brain Squad:

Donatello- The brains of the TMNT. Has backwards engineered Neutrino Dimension X technology and developed a machine that can turn rotten food back into ripe food. A Brilliant inventor. HE does machines, and thats a fact Jack.

Derek Jacobi-  Arguably the greatest monologist alive. Here's proof:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5dI65LvbrE

James Madison- The father of the constitution. Elloquent and brilliant, he might be the most underappreciated of the founding fathers. Author of my favorite quote about American politics and why we live in a representative republic and not a democracy:"Had Every Athenian citizen been a socrates; every Athenian Assembly would still have been a mob."

Jesse Owens- He runs really fast.

Prof.James Moriarty- The only man who was the intellectual rival to the great Sherlock Holmes, ran a criminal empire that flummoxed the great detective for years.

Odysseus of Ithaca-  The cleverest hero in all of Greek mythology. Defied the will of the gods( to never get home) and made it back to his wife overcoming Cyclops, Sirens, Scylla and Charybdis and other obstacles. Oh yeah... His military genius was the reason for the sacking of Troy. BOO YAH KA SHA!

Charles Darwin- Evolution is easily the most important non-physics related, scientific discovery of the past 200 years.

Adam Warlock with the infinity Gauntlet: Mind Gem Suckas! Also, without the gems, he created the battle plan that lost the Mad Titan the Infinity gauntlet.

Duane Allman: Musical genius. EX:

Confucious: The Sage to end all sages.

This one comes down to FWF, Redz, and Edgar for me.  Since FWF has already won a category, I'm leaning towards Redz and Edgar.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
Team TBD sez...

- Brainiac: Self-explanatory, the guy's an evil supergenius, with "12th level intellect", a mind so beyond ours that, to us, the term for it sounds kind of arbitrary and made up.

- Batman: Morally ambiguous supergenius, a master engineer and detective.  Has the rare combo of book smarts, shop smarts, and street smarts.

- Nikola Tesla - The most brilliant engineer of the 20th century, and one of the most brilliant theorists as well.  Revolutionized multiple scientific disciplines, invented the radio and AC power.

- Alexander the Great: Another one with book smarts (tutored by Aristotle) and battlefield smarts.  Also a great leader.

- Grand Admiral Thrawn: Tactical genius and very well educated in art theory - uses the art of opposing species to determine their tactics and reactions in advance.

- KG + Bruce Lee: Psychologist Howard Gardner argues that there are at least 8 semi-autonomous categories of intelligence.  One of these is bodily/kinesthetic intelligence.  Both KG and Bruce Lee are clearly geniuses in this category.

- Trent Reznor: Musical genius, was a child piano prodigy.  Currently writes and usually records all parts for all of Nine Inch Nails' songs.  This can involve up to 5 or 6 instruments, plus as many as 30-40 electronic layers per song.

- Voltron:  Not human, but is extremely intelligent for a machine, and will smartly stomp you into goo if you disagree with him.

- Charlie Kelly/Green Man - happy to bring down the curve and make everyone else seem that much smarter.
