If you want a team to dominate the world, pick somebody who has done it before:  Zeus, Thanos (look him up, non-geeks), Silver Surfer (ditto; he's not nearly as lame as in that terrible movie), Napolean, Louis Freakin' Pasteur!  He'll let small pox loose on you!
