I still disagree.
Again, I go back to reference our championship season with an even less experienced Rondo, who wasn't averaging triple doubles in the playoffs.
In the first half of those playoffs was Sam Cassell backing up, who wasn't really dazzling anyone on defense or offense. The second half saw Eddie house as a backup, who is a sub par ball handler. We got by with Ray or Paul handling the ball and playing solid TEAM defense. A talented backup PG does not put this team over the top because they are already over the top if healthy and with the possibility of Sheed, Baby, Daniels, and House off the bench.
Come to think of it, Daniels is a pretty [dang] good ball handler and is a great driver. Him bringing up the ball and Sheed sitting the high pick and roll sounds pretty appetizing to me....almost Howard-Turkoglu like
