we definitely need a pg. heaven forbid something happens to rondo and he is out with an injury, i dont want eddie running the point, and i dont think pruitt even deserves a roster spot.
there was a poll a little while ago asking what we needed more, a pg or a 2/3. i voted in the minority of saying pg. i recognize we need both positions, but i value the pg role more. im hoping they get a veteren as an insurance.
I value PG more, but I said wing was more important because PP/Ray can't play as many minutes as Rondo can at their age. More importantly, our status quo PG position (Eddie or Pruitt) is better than TA or our projects.
That being said, I really want to see how Lester Hudson or even Daniels pans out at the PG spot in training camp.
Paul and Ray should be more than okay as long as they play around 35 minutes. It's just weird to me to have Rondo playing more minutes than them, considering how much more they score when they're in the game.
Well Paul/Ray are older so i do understand them playing less minutes. They experience more wear/tear along the season than Rondo does, and he can run all day.
They should be playing more minutes because they score more than rondo does? There is more to be done on the floor besides scoring...besides, Rondo hasn't looked to attack as much with Paul/Ray/Kevin on the floor. But when he had to he did (playoffs)
Regardless, the team doesn't allocate minutes based on points per game. I'm just saying, i think Rondo should be playing more minutes than Paul/Ray and it makes sense.
It would be nice to have an experienced pg on the bench though, in case of injury. I know Daniels can handle, but we need him on the wing.
