This was a kid who was a top-5 prospect entering college, and his coach played him out of position.Type in "Jrue Holiday Rondo" into google, and see what type of comparisons you find. It's not me making this stuff up.
I believe you. There is just an implication of comparing the two guys though that is kind of misleading. Like when I say "James Harden is a Brandon Roy clone", I'm implying that James Harden could be Brandon Roy. But if I'm being completely honest, that's extremely unlikely. Brandon Roy is a very special player, kinda like Rajon Rondo.

There are some comparisons between the two players: they were elite prospects entering college; they were misused by their coaches, causing them to slip in the draft; they both are very good passers, creators and defenders. Rondo, though, is on the verge of reaching stardom, and Holiday is a rookie (although a rookie who should see a ton of time in Philly).
