Jrue is on the block

hehe

nothing like pumping a kid up to toss him on the block  ;D

See I knew Roy didn't believe all that. This is cold hard proof.

Edgar has been hanging out with Josh Howard during the mid-draft break today.

actually when teams need defense Jrue could be better than eric Gordon.

in the same way that Lindsey hunter is much better than Steve Nash when you narrow down their skill sets to one thing, sure :D

Haha.  Stepping outside of the "fake GM" mold for a minute, don't sleep on Holiday.  I'm not saying he'll definitely be as good as Rondo or Gordon, but it wouldn't shock me if he's mentioned in the same breath in two or three years.

For our team, though, he's a defensive specialist.

LOL. Miami has the Sound Machine, Portland has the Hype Machine.

BTW, it's going to hit 100 degrees in Portland today and tomorrow (the city is abuzz). So there really is a lot of hot air coming out of Portland these days.

Miami is looking to make a move to acquire a solid, young SF.  Willing to listen to almost any offer.  PM us!  TP for every decent offer

Better late than never

The Charlotte Bobcats select Javale McGee

Alright, rough start to the day and am still catching up with the morning session. But I wanted to say this is my favorite pick of Round 7. I love McGee. Hobbs will tell you how much.

And word is he acquitted himself well at last week's US Basketball minicamp.

6'10" SF drafted by Phoenix.  Good passer, good mid-range game.

Great pick by Phoenix I though, coincidentally. Fits in well with their supposed basketball philosophy.

I love how Portland hypes their team. Its a very good team, no question but the scrolling posts, pictures and proclamations are entertaining.

Key word: "considering".  Don't take that as a firm offer, folks.

Edgar is the Mark Cuban of the draft.

I'm not sure what that makes me.

Orlando is interested in moving into the top 5 or 6 spots of the 9th.

We can offer 9.23, and a late 10th (10.30), plus additional considerations if necessary, for your early 9th and a late round selection.

PM GC or myself, or find one of us in chat.
