on Jrue
Seventeen is not  a bad place to be.
There are a lot of things that have to take place. Every team is looking for different things. He had been projected to be as high as eight down to about 15. Portland is a great franchise. the team’s general manager, is really good. have a great coach, so Jrue is in a great situation in a nice town with good history for basketball.

Andre Miller is an unrestricted free agent, so he may or may not be back ( this last thing cracks me up when doint the review)
lol he finally went back to portland and not Phily...lol

Portland selects Jrue Holiday, the best defensive PG to enter the league since Rajon Rondo.

That may or may not be true, but who are the other defensive PG's that have entered the league since Rajon Rondo?

Whoever they are, they're significantly worse than Jrue Holiday.

yeah..i am hoping he will be one of those solid rookies that just makes a natural transition. like him coming off our bench..we can play him at the 2 and move Salmons to the SF if needed

Portland is looking to do the same thing, with 10(4) and 12(10) to offer.

On Jrue

GM says....

Hey its the third team
we need 3 vets and two quality rookies to send to NBDL
no Gerald Greens  but guys who understand defense and knows how to play
Jrue fits that mold perfectly.

No, in all seriousness, look at his draft profiles.  This was a kid who was a top-5 prospect entering college, and his coach played him out of position.

Type in "Jrue Holiday Rondo" into google, and see what type of comparisons you find.  It's not me making this stuff up.

I believe you. There is just an implication of comparing the two guys though that is kind of misleading. Like when I say "James Harden is a Brandon Roy clone", I'm implying that James Harden could be Brandon Roy. But if I'm being completely honest, that's extremely unlikely. Brandon Roy is a very special player, kinda like Rajon Rondo.

I absolutely agree.  There are some comparisons between the two players:  they were elite prospects entering college; they were misused by their coaches, causing them to slip in the draft; they both are very good passers, creators and defenders.  Rondo, though, is on the verge of reaching stardom, and Holiday is a rookie (although a rookie who should see a ton of time in Philly).

They're talking Sessions to Philly now. I wonder where my boy Ramon is gonna end up.
