Some how in a matter of a month Dwayne Wade went from your all-time team to injury prone? Please Roy, you love me team. Just admit it.

I think I called Wade "dominant" in this thread.  However, he's also been injury-prone to this point in his career.  Since you're the one focused on injuries, I figured it would be relevant.

And no, honestly, I don't like your team.  I loved the first pick, was kinda blah on the Nene pick, and hated the Odom selection.  I think you had the chance to surround Wade with excellent players, and haven't been able to do so.
On a lighter note what do you think about my team? Come on I know you are a believer.

Of course, things change.  We don't judge teams after 3 1/2 rounds.

Luck for you all I do  ;)  So here's my thoughts about the league so far (based on first 3 rounds only, because I'm just looking at Dons roster post for ease of comparison).

East:

Atlantic looks like  the best division to me, I think every team looks like a playoff team (although I am biased).
Toronto has a an All Defensive front court, but Gilbert doesn't fit at all.

Central, I think Chicago is the front runner, and Detroit has a very solid team.  Bucks I don't think have enough around Durant to make any noise.

Southeast.  LeBron is going to run all over that division, though I don't think Okafor/Marc Gasol will work, but no other teams compete so far.

West:
Northwest.  Denver looks like real life Portland.  Alot of young stars, solid team now, but even brighter future.  Portland will be raining 3's and looks like a 50 win team, but doesn't have what it takes to go all the way.  The rest have solid pieces I like, but we'll have to see how they all get put together.

Southwest. San Antonio will be exciting, but I don't ever see Rose/Mayo as a championship combo of the future.  Kobe needs some serious help.  Dallas and Houston have interesting pieces, not sure how they'll fare though (still a lot of drafting left).

Pacific.  Nice supporting cast for Howard that can spread the floor, will win the division.  Golden State looks like the 2nd best here and will be a tough team, but looks like a second round playoff team to me at best.  Solid pieces on Braves and Suns and Kings with a lot of drafting left.  Las Vegas looks like they're postioning for #1 in next years draft.

Just my opinion, and only through 3 rounds, didn't really take into consideration what has happened so far today.

TPs for a nice mini breakdown.  (and for being the first GM to notice that Denver will be able to compete for a playoff spot this season)

TP for doing the eval, but I don't know how you can look at the pacific and immediately drop us (vegas) to worst team in the league

certainly Howard is going to crush us, but i would put Gordon, ariza, beasly and AV (at Center) against anyone in that division.

I feel like Gordon is being thrown out with the trash because he plays for the clippers. The kid is a stud, and one of the best young guard's in the league. we certainly won't win this year, but we won't be the worst team in the league, either.

Yes, I am.  I don't like Maggette, but I do like the rest of your team a lot.

The only weakness is defense...  Okur and Deng are decent, but the other three aren't that special.  I'm assuming, though, that defense won't be where you win your games.

Offensively, great.

I think from this point on, defense needs to be a big key in your picks.  (I wouldn't be afraid of replacing one of your offensive players with a stronger defenders, using him as a strong 6th man)

Also Roy and Edgar, instead of attacking my team why don't you just defend your own? I wanted you both to discuss my and other people's concerns.

That was probably fair after the third round.  Halfway through the fourth, though, I like where we stand.

Well if we're all defending our teams:

I like my team,  though I wish I didn't make the first trade I made, I kinda choked and I really think it hurt my team

I like the idea of Iggy, Battier and Alridge on defense, very similar to the main parts of Houston's D last year with Iggy and Battier reaking havoc on the wings and Alridge protecting the hoop.

Offensively, I like Alridge in the post, Battier spreading the floor, and Iggy slashing and shooting from the mid range.

p.s. manu by himself is better than half the so called ^franchise players¨ a winner and super clutch
so yes i think we have what it takes to go all the way.
and come on the shooting is scary
I remember Orlando did pretty well last year ...or dont?

Yeah. Are you on taped delay or something? I feel like you only get my newest PM after you answer my older one.

Unbelievable.

I like your first three selections a lot.  Gay and Lopez are arguably a little raw to go deep into the playoffs, but it's hard not to like Parker.

Yep.

But with that said, there is a lot of pressure on you to make two strong picks in this round.  Are you going win now or grow for the future?

The great thing about Parker is that you can afford to do a bit of both, as long as I get productive young players they can grow around Parker for the next 3 years until they're ready to contend. I do think multiple outcomes from the next two picks can make us playoff contenders though.

That's always the kick in the pants if you make an early trade mistake with a high pick.  No matter how good you draft, you are starting behind everyone.

you have a nice middle three, but haven't addressed the two hardest positions to fill.  Hard to read where a team might end up until one of those spots are filled.
