Also Roy and Edgar, instead of attacking my team why don't you just defend your own? I wanted you both to discuss my and other people's concerns.
It is proving to be impossible to defend one's teams.  Since we are all in competition here not many people are gonna say, "You know hes right his team is better than mine." Its going to be like the politics threads, everybody throwing facts and stats left and right but nobodys mind changing

Yeah, your probably right.

But still, Gilbert is gonna be healthy ;D

I'll believe ya when me poop turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet. Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral....

Did you see the most recent article about Gilberts health or should I repost it?

Didn't they have similar articles before the previous two seasons?

Of course, things change.  We don't judge teams after 3 1/2 rounds.

Luck for you all I do  ;)  So here's my thoughts about the league so far (based on first 3 rounds only, because I'm just looking at Dons roster post for ease of comparison).

East:

Atlantic looks like  the best division to me, I think every team looks like a playoff team (although I am biased).
Toronto has a an All Defensive front court, but Gilbert doesn't fit at all.

Central, I think Chicago is the front runner, and Detroit has a very solid team.  Bucks I don't think have enough around Durant to make any noise.

Southeast.  LeBron is going to run all over that division, though I don't think Okafor/Marc Gasol will work, but no other teams compete so far.

West:
Northwest.  Denver looks like real life Portland.  Alot of young stars, solid team now, but even brighter future.  Portland will be raining 3's and looks like a 50 win team, but doesn't have what it takes to go all the way.  The rest have solid pieces I like, but we'll have to see how they all get put together.

Southwest. San Antonio will be exciting, but I don't ever see Rose/Mayo as a championship combo of the future.  Kobe needs some serious help.  Dallas and Houston have interesting pieces, not sure how they'll fare though (still a lot of drafting left).

Pacific.  Nice supporting cast for Howard that can spread the floor, will win the division.  Golden State looks like the 2nd best here and will be a tough team, but looks like a second round playoff team to me at best.  Solid pieces on Suns and Kings with a lot of drafting left.  Las Vegas looks like they're postioning for #1 in next years draft.

Just my opinion, and only through 3 rounds, didn't really take into consideration what has happened so far today.

My problem with Gilbert is not his health, I feel that he will be healthy, my problem is his shooting. As in he does it too much, you don't want a shoot first, shoot second, shoot third point guard.

And I dont think any articles have said that he is in the best shape of the past five years the past two years because it would have been best shap in the past three years and best shape in the past 4 years respectively

TPs for a nice mini breakdown.  (and for being the first GM to notice that Denver will be able to compete for a playoff spot this season)

Did I mention your inconsistent too?

Ok with my final pick of the 2009 CB All Time Team... I need a SG, and yes he is young, but he has what I need for my bench. Defense and Scoring....

Dwyane Wade

Wow I just compiled my lineups and I LIKEY!!!!!!

Haha.  I was keeping a running list of guy's I would put on my team, and you kept picking them.

Some how in a matter of a month Dwayne Wade went from your all-time team to injury prone? Please Roy, you love me team. Just admit it.

From my Blog:

"Indiana looks poised to go undefeated this year. There's roughly 3-5 teams that could possibly test them in a game, but it's unlikely."

I think I called Wade "dominant" in this thread.  However, he's also been injury-prone to this point in his career.  Since you're the one focused on injuries, I figured it would be relevant.

And no, honestly, I don't like your team.  I loved the first pick, was kinda blah on the Nene pick, and hated the Odom selection.  I think you had the chance to surround Wade with excellent players, and haven't been able to do so.

I like your first three selections a lot.  Gay and Lopez are arguably a little raw to go deep into the playoffs, but it's hard not to like Parker.

Yep.

But with that said, there is a lot of pressure on you to make two strong picks in this round.  Are you going win now or grow for the future?
