This is awesome, but my god we are an old team.

And by "old" you actually mean "oldschool awesome" right?

So Wcy just buys stock in AARP and consults Wilford Brimley on his Quaker Otes diet.

Not to hate on Hill or even say this is a bad pickup...but where's this idea that the 37 year old Grant Hill can play defense?

I watched quite a few Phoenix games last year and while his ball handling and offense seem well put together, and he even rebounds a bit, he would consistently get burned on defense.

I've been putting this question on the main page comments quite a few times - we need a strong athletic and aggressive wing to spell Pierce guarding the Lebron's and Bryants.

Hill is NOT that guy.

Let's keep the enthusiasm tempered with some sober reality about what holes we still have. I'm hoping Billy Walker can evolve (given enough playing time, which I doubt) into someone that can at least harass and slow Lebron.

Defense wins championships, right?

Sounds like that's from BBD's agent. The problem is that he's a restricted free agent and the C's can match.
Although he is a perfect fit for the spurs, they could start him next to Duncan and give him more money.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale

Two things:

1) BBD has been fairly candid that he's looking to get paid this off-season; if he goes to the Spurs, I'm sure it's because they offered the best contract; and

2) As most people here know, just because BBD signs an offer sheet doesn't mean he'll be a Spur, as the Celts can match.

I think San Antonio would be better off with McDyess, just because he's a better rebounder.

Well, let's hope he's right.  Tanguay has gotten himself a lot of attention this off-season, and I'd be happy if it turned out to be deserved.

Ha! Seriously... Getting Hill would be huge. 2 birds with one stone - a back up small forward, and he can free up House with the ball handling.

Why in the world would the Knicks pay this guy?  He would do them absolutely no good.  Common sense would indicate he goes to a team like the Celts.

Indeed. Grant Hill should be thinking about his legacy. Go out a winner.
