The Bulls have just reached a deal with Underdog. He will play Benny the Bull. We will entertain offers to trade our mascot though if for some bizarre reason there is a market for underdog. :)

I don't think people should post bad offers in this thread though. Not many people are even making offers and we don't want people to be even more gun shy.

The Chicago Bulls will never post an awful offer you make in this thread. "Chicago where caring happens"

Disclaimer: "Caring" does not extend to Celticsblog chat conversations.

But, JR did ask me a good question in chat last night - in between the heckling and peer pressure - which is the more competitive, Celticsblog Draft or Celticsblog Fantasy League?

Haha.  Only the Sacramento trade is out of whack; the Charlotte deal was a gift (literally).

Take another look at that deal with Houston. Still, I'm glad to have you on the side of the law this year, Hobbs. Maybe it's Edgar's good influence and heart warming scrolling text.

honestly? just like I could use MORE COWBELL, i could also use a lot more:

Edgar's ... heart warming scrolling text.

Hey Guys, all joking aside, Im really sorry about this latest deal with SA.  I never updated my spreadsheet at work that I had traded away that 9th pick to Scribbles.  Im most sorry to BigAl because he thought we had a deal done and my carelessness screwed it up.  My bad everyone, and I hope you do know i would never intentionally try to trade a pick I didn't have.  It was an honest mistake and Im sorry.

The following trade has been voided due to inclusion of a draft pick whose rights are held by another owner.

Raptors send: 3rd rounder (12), 8th rounder (28), 9th rounder (3)

Spurs send: 4th rounder (6), 6th rounder (28), 10th rounder (6)

I'll tell you one, LEAHYISGOD. I'm making my official petition now for the Knicks franchise next year.

Maybe Scribbles can move the 9th rounder for something to make the deal work. Or the Spurs can take two 10th rounders or something. In fact I'm willing to trade my 9.1 to help with the deal.

AP- Toronto- In response to the recent "Firestorm," resulting over Toronto accepting SA's trade and declining the gem that Sacramento offered of a 7th and 9th rounder for the 12th overall in the 3rd round Toronto GM Rondo2287 said,

"I know I said that we could take all the heat, but sometimes a good point guard knows when to pass the ball so that the team can score.  Which is why I am stepping down as GM of the Toronto Raptors effective immediately. I will be replaced by former governer of Alaska, Sarah Palin."

When asked if Palin was qualified to be the general manager of a NBA franchise she responded,

"Oh you betcha, I played point guard in highschool dontcha know."

She followed this up with an enormous wink the magnitude the world had never seen before, she also said, "My time as GM will be a filled with, "Change that we can believe in and a change in business as usual in Toronto."(These mottos will surely be embraced by the people of Canada as people here think that Bush is still president simply because nothing has changed yet under Obama.)

She then immediately hired back Rondo2287 as "Chief of basketball operations and decision maker for everything basketball related."

When asked how he felt about his demotion, Rondo2287 responded, "Well actually im quite comfortable with a woman like Sarah Palin directly on top of me."

Last line aside, funny stuff here. TP.

Not as funny as trading a pick you didn't have tho  ;)

I think most of the GMs we've talked to would agree that we only make fair offers.

The silly thing is, last season the deals with Houston, yourself and the Angry Pickles were offered to us.  We didn't do any negotiating, because it wasn't necessary.  To the extent that people felt swindled, it's because they made us poor offers and we gladly accepted.

Agreed. Or the Spurs just take a later pick and eliminate the 9/10 switch.
